About Us
The Ark-La-Tex Caged Bird Club is a not for profit organization
dedicated to promoting the proper care of exotic birds. Located in
Shreveport, Louisiana, the club has been active for more than nine years.
We serve the Northern Louisiana, Southern Arkansas and East Texas area.
The Ark-La-Tex Caged Bird Club was formed to promote the proper care of
exotic birds. One of the many ways we achieve this goal is to support
various Avicultural organizations in our area as well as other
organizations worldwide.
Meetings
Club meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at the Barnwell
Arts Center on the Shreveport riverfront. Meetings begin at 7 pm and are
open to anyone with an interest in exotic birds.
