Bird Clubs of Virginia
About Us
A federation of five Virginia bird clubs working together for an annual
state convention, formed in January 1985 at Hampton, Va. It, is a 501(c)3
non-profit corporation which has only Virginia bird clubs as partners
(free) and no individual memberships. It is also a watchman for pending
regulations and laws for its members, but not a united voice.
Its goals are education with regional, national and international
speakers local clubs may not get for their programs.
Not a state bird club. Election by the board: Admin. Coordinator,
asst., a treasurer, and a secretary (Not necessarily from the directors
and with no vote)
Meetings
Regardless of size, each club has up to two directors appointed or
elected that meet in Richmond generally as needed for important decisions.
Otherwise, the progress of business is conducted on a secure group
website.
