Great Lakes Avicultural Society
About Us
The Purpose of Great Lakes Avicultural Society (G.L.A.S.) is to promote
the proper companion bird care and to facilitate learning about birds in
an encouraging and friendly environment.
Meetings
We meet the second Monday of every month (except July) at the Peter
Josapaitus UAW Hall (next to Hot n' Now), 4269 Alpine Avenue N.W., Grand
Rapids, MI at 7:00 PM. Meetings consist of introduction of Board members,
a short business discussion, bird discussion followed by a 15 minute
intermission before the program starts. During the intermission 50/50 and
raffle tickets are sold. Our members provide Coffee, juice and snacks at
every meeting. Meetings last untill about 9:00 PM
